May 11-17, 2015 I took part in PFI’s annual Deja Blue competition in Grand Cayman. Last year (my first year back at competing after 5 years off) I competed in all disciplines and placed 2nd. This year I had hoped to improve on that but after a shoulder injury in January I decided to do just dynamic, constant and static so my shoulder would have more time to heal. Doing that meant that I would not have a chance at placing. But I am happy to report that I made the deepest dive of the competition with a constant weight dive to 75m. I hadn’t gotten any training in (well I did two static sessions) before the competition so I am very happy with 75m! Next year I will try to train more and see if I can get into the 80’s!
